50 years society - culture - life in the Republic of Cyrpus

The exhibition "50 years culture, life and society in the Republic of Cyprus" aims to present those elements which display and explain our recent past and perhaps define our future. This is why we have decided, as organising team, to invite Kyriaki Costa to participate in this effort.

Her recent work, comments and personal views and interpretations of our recent past, mingles perfectly old materials and memorabilia with contemporary media and installations, with media reflecting the ideas and interpretations of the past and the present of our country.

"Pandoras Box" and other "corners" in the Leventis Museum are hosting "CITY -ART" that is Kyriaki's works. We will therefore have the opportunity to view them, think about them, analyse them and give our own interpretation to her creations and interpretation of our country's 50 years anniversary.

This will be our one to one dialogue with contemporary art depicting our "country who is unexpectedly beautiful ......" as says Kyriaki.
