The wind was howling and whistling ferociously and with great power, wiggling
the boat right and left like it was only a mere light walnut shell. The
thunderstorm lasted for many hours. And once the sea calmed, Saint Helen and
her escorts saw that their boat, with the strong power of the waves, had moored
onto the coast of a small island, Cyprus. The river that was washing away its
waters at this particular gulf was later on named Vasilikos (royal) or
Vasilopotamos (the river of the kings).
